She completed her undergraduate studies in the University of Barcelona where she also completed a postgraduate course in "Mental health and psychological interventions with immigrants, refugees and minorities". She then completed a master´s degree on Psychological Sciences with a major on Clinical Psychology in Liege University, Belgium. She has completed a postgraduate course on Attachment theory in Paris University, France. She has been granted the homologation of her title as “psicóloga general sanitaria”. She is currently studying Systemic Relational Therapy at Hestia.
Her professional career has been carried out mainly in Belgium, where she has acquired experience in different fields. She has worked in child and adolescent mental health services accompanying children’s and teenagers together with their families, in liaison with schools, educative institutions and other community services. She has also worked in the field of foster care, where she has used family interventions with volunteer families that sometimes include extended family members. For the past five years she has been part of a multidisciplinary team that works with child and teenage mental health issues and mental health crisis. During this time, she has developed skills in at home interventions and developing closed family and neighborhood mental health networks. Altogether her professional activity has allowed her to explore innovative and integrative methodologies in psychosocial intervention.
