She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands and has since specialized in clinical intervention, focusing on the cognitive-behavioral approach.
She also has a postgraduate degree in Forensic Psychology, which she obtained from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Working in the Psychiatric and Mental Health Unit of Igualada’s General Hospital (Consorci Sanitari de l'Anoia) has helped her gain experience in individual and group therapy for adults with clinical psychopathology or mental health problems.
Furthermore, she obtained her Ph.D. with the honors degree 'cum laude' from the University of Barcelona, where she researches in the field of psychology, focusing on criminology.
Apart from her academic training in the field of psychology, she is also fluent in four languages: German, English, Dutch and Spanish.
